What Vigie keeps
The domain, the link without its parameters, the verdict and the date, with verdicts expiring after 24 hours and investigation logs deleted after 30 days.

What Vigie never keeps
Your identity, your IP address in clear or the app the link came from, since each install only gets an anonymous token for the free daily quota.

Private links
Links that carry a token, such as password reset links, are never opened or sent to VirusTotal or urlscan.io.

The AI model
The link and the text of the checked page are sent to the AI provider (OpenAI, or Google as a backup) for the analysis, with nothing that identifies you.

Your own AI key
If you add one in Vigie for Windows, it stays in your device’s protected storage and is used in memory for each check, never written on the server.
Vigie is built in Togo and follows Togo’s personal data law (Loi n° 2019-014).
